India’s premier medical institute, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has declared the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam results for 2017. Now, the AIIMS MBBS entrance exam results 2017 are available at mbbs.aiimsexams.org and it is also live on the website of all the six regional AIIMS across the country.
AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam 2017 was conducted on May 28. According to reports, more than 1.5 lakh students have appeared for the entrance examinations. AIIMS is likely to release a merit list, having the names of the candidates, their all-India rank and percentile.
There was apprehension about the entrance examination as Anand Rai, who exposed the Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh, had alleged that the question papers of this year’s entrance exam for the MBBS course were leaked.
However, after having an enquiry, AIIMS has come to a conclusion that the question paper of the MBBS online entrance examination was not leaked though some candidates in a particular centre with the help of some officials indulged in cheating. AIIMS through its internal mechanism has identified the candidates and the centre. It has recommended a CBI probe into the matter.
After the declaration of the results. The first counselling of the shortlisted candidates will be held from 3 to 6 July 2017.
