New Delhi — The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is exhibiting programmes linked to Digital India, IndiaAI and the citizen-engagement platform MyGov at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) in New Delhi.
The pavilion, inaugurated by Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada at Bharat Mandapam, presents information on government initiatives in digital public infrastructure, applications of artificial intelligence and participatory governance.
One of the central features this year is the IndiaAI Zone, which outlines the government’s plans for artificial intelligence adoption. The section includes displays on proposed approaches for AI deployment in areas such as public services, healthcare and education.
The IndiaAI experience area provides material on the mission’s seven thematic pillars — AI Kosh, Applications, Future Skills, Start-ups, Compute, Foundational Models and Safe & Trusted AI — including examples of AI applications and information on training and start-up support programmes.
The pavilion also includes exhibits tied to activities expected in the lead-up to next year’s India AI Impact Summit. One section outlines the Global Impact Challenges programme aimed at supporting selected AI projects through prize funding and access to mentorship and investor networks.
Additional displays describe initiatives such as AI for All, which focuses on scalable problem-solving solutions, AI by Her targeting women-led AI ventures and the YUVAi challenge for innovators aged 13 to 21.
Research-focused initiatives are also covered. The Research Symposium on AI and its Impact highlights academic work underway in India and other countries in the Global South, while the IndiaAI–IEA Call for Abstracts centres on AI use cases in the energy sector. Another segment provides information on IndiaAI Tinkerpreneur, a bootcamp intended to introduce school students to introductory AI concepts.
MeitY has stated that the pavilion aims to give the public a snapshot of how emerging technologies are being applied in governance, public services and industry. IITF 2025 runs from November 14 to 27.
