OPPO has launched its latest flagship smartphones, Find X9 and Find X9 Pro, globally, expanding its premium portfolio with new camera technology, larger batteries and performance upgrades. The India launch is expected in November, as earlier reported by TechObserver.in.
The new Find X9 Series introduces a 200-megapixel Hasselblad telephoto camera, a redesigned imaging engine and OPPO’s largest battery yet, underscoring the company’s continued focus on hardware innovation.
According to the company, the Find X9 Pro features a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-828 main sensor with real-time triple exposure, alongside a 200MP telephoto sensor co-developed with Hasselblad.
The standard Find X9 includes three 50MP cameras and an additional True Colour sensor designed for improved accuracy in mixed lighting. Both models use OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine, which the company says enhances image quality while reducing CPU and power consumption by more than half compared with previous systems.
For performance, both models are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. OPPO said the new architecture delivers up to 32 per cent higher performance and 55 per cent lower peak power use than the previous generation. Each model also includes upgraded vapour-cooling systems and AI-based power management features.
OPPO Find X9 Series Battery
Battery capacity has been increased to 7025 mAh in the Find X9 and 7500 mAh in the Find X9 Pro — the largest batteries fitted in any OPPO flagship so far. The phones support 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. OPPO claims both devices retain over 80 per cent of their original capacity after five years of standard use, based on internal tests.
The series runs on ColorOS 16, offering AI-driven features such as AI Mind Space, AI Recorder and AI Portrait Glow, and extends OPPO’s cross-device connectivity through O+ Connect, compatible with both Mac and Windows.
Both models feature flat-edge designs, 120Hz displays with up to 3600-nit peak brightness, and IP66/IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The Find X9 is available in Titanium Grey, Space Black and Velvet Red, while the Find X9 Pro comes in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal finishes.
In China, the Find X9 starts at CNY 4,399 (around ₹54,300) and the Find X9 Pro at CNY 5,299 (around ₹65,400). Global sales are expected to begin in early November through OPPO stores, authorised retailers and partner carriers.
The new series follows OPPO’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the premium smartphone market, which, according to Counterpoint Research, saw the company’s average selling price rise 14 per cent year-on-year in Q2 2025, the fastest among major smartphone brands.
