Samsung adds new colours to Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G, announces festive offers

Samsung said it introduced new colour options for Galaxy A56 5G and A36 5G in India and launched limited-time festive season offers across the A series.

Gurugram – Samsung Electronics said on Thursday it had introduced new colour variants for two of its Galaxy A series in India and announced limited-time festive season offers across the series.

The Galaxy A56 5G will be available in pink and the in lime, in addition to existing colour options, Samsung said in a statement.

The company said the Galaxy A56 5G is priced from 35,999 rupees with a bank discount of up to 4,000 rupees for a limited period, while the Galaxy A36 5G starts at 25,999 rupees after a 5,000 rupee discount. Both devices are also available with no-cost equated monthly instalments of up to 24 months, Samsung added.

According to the statement, the Galaxy A56 5G features a metal , Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, and a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the Exynos 1580 processor with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Galaxy A36 5G is equipped with a Snapdragon processor, a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilisation, and a battery capable of 29 hours of video playback on a single charge.

Both models also include a suite of artificial intelligence features Samsung calls “Awesome Intelligence”, which includes real-time visual communication through Gemini Live, Circle to Search with Google, and Object Eraser for photo editing, according to the company.

Samsung said other festive offers were available across the Galaxy A series. The Galaxy A17 5G will be sold at 17,999 rupees with financing options including zero down payment and no processing fees.

The company also said customers purchasing select models could buy Galaxy Buds Core earphones at 3,999 rupees, down from 4,999 rupees, and Galaxy A06 5G would be available at 9,899 rupees with a discounted 25W travel adapter.

Samsung is one of India’s largest brand by sales, according to industry estimates, and competes with other smartphone manufacturers including Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo in the mass-market segment.
