Sharp India launches PureFit air purifiers, PureWave washing machines and new refrigerators

SHARP India introduces new air purifiers, washing machines, and refrigerators, with features like Plasmacluster and AIoT, and festive season rewards.

Japanese consumer electronics firm has launched the PureFit series of air purifiers, the PureWave series of semi-automatic washing machines, and a range of single-door and double-door refrigerators in the Indian market.

According to the company, the PureFit air purifiers—models FX-S120, FP-S42M-L, and FP-S40M-T/W—are equipped with SHARP’s Plasmacluster technology, which uses ions to address contaminants, allergens, and odours in the air. The air purifiers also include Coanda Airflow Technology for even air distribution across rooms.

The FX-S120 model, as per SHARP, features an Electrostatic HEPA filter targeting particles as small as 0.02 microns, along with an Activated Carbon filter to address household odours. The FX-S120 and FP-S42M-L models also include AIoT capabilities, allowing remote monitoring and control through .

The PureWave series washing machines—PureWave, PureWave Plus, and PureWave Ultra—feature Japan’s 7 Shield technology for enhanced durability, Quadroniq Pulsators for cleaning, HydroBlast for stain removal, and Wave Dry Ring technology for drying. Design elements include toughened glass and a soft-close lid.

SHARP’s new refrigerators, available in single and double-door models, offer toughened glass shelves and stabiliser-free operation. Both the washing machines and refrigerators incorporate the 7 Shield protection technology for durability.

“We are committed towards our ‘Make in ‘ plans and are really happy to launch the range of air purifiers and new semi-automatic washing machines and refrigerators,” said SHARP Business Systems India’s Managing Director, Osamu Narita, adding that next year the company will also increase in health and well-being as Sharp India completes 25 years in India. ”

In celebration of the festive season, the company is offering exclusive rewards with product purchases, including gifts such as hand mixers and kettles. Additionally, a promotional programme will award 15 customers with vouchers worth ₹10,000, and two customers with round-trip tickets to Bali.

The PureFit air purifiers are available at electronics stores and online, with prices starting at ₹51,999 for the FX-S120, ₹24,990 for the FP-S42M-L, and ₹19,990 for the FP-S40M-L. The semi-automatic washing machines begin at ₹9,500, and the refrigerators start at ₹14,990.
