Under the hood, the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing vibrant and smooth visuals. The smartphone features a futuristic fluid design with a high-strength alloy framework, providing enhanced protection against drops, pressure, and water.

Both models are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300- SoC, ensuring high performance and power efficiency. The devices are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and support 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, capable of charging from 0 to 100 percent in just 46 minutes.

The Reno 12 series also introduces the BeaconLink technology, which enables seamless one-to-one voice calls over Bluetooth during network outages, functioning much like a walkie-talkie in no-network environments.

Talking about the future trends in the smartphone market, Lee said that AI, durability, and security would be key focuses. He also mentioned Oppo’s plans to introduce Generative AI features across its entire lineup by the end of 2024, aiming to enhance user experiences in entertainment and everyday tasks.

The Reno 12 Pro 5G comes in two versions: Rs 36,999 for the 12GB/256GB model and Rs 40,999 for the 12GB/512GB model. The Reno 12 5G, priced at Rs 32,999, includes 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

The Reno 12 Pro 5G will be available from July 18, and the Reno 12 5G from July 25, on the Oppo e-Store, Flipkart, and mainline retail outlets.
