Oppo expands tech offerings, launches Reno 8 series in India

The new Oppo Reno 8 series will include two smartphones– Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro, the new smartphone comes in only the 5G variant model.

Expanding its tech offering, Chinese smartphone major Oppo has launched its all new Reno 8 smartphone series in the . According to the company, the new smartphone comes in only the 5G variant model. The company has also announced the launch of its first tablet– Oppo Pad Air- and Enco X2 TWS earbuds in .

As per the company the new Oppo Reno 8 series will include two smartphones– Reno 8 and Reno 8 Pro. While the Oppo Reno 8 5G is expected to come with three variants– 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. Oppo Reno 8 Pro is tipped to come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Technologically advanced new Oppo Reno 8 5G will come with a 6.43-inch display. “The smartphone may come with 90Hz of refresh rate. The phone may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC processor and offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage,” top tech trackers speculated.

Meanwhile the new handset is tipped to feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, 2MP secondary sensor and a 2MP nanosensor. It could house a 32MP sensor for clicking selfies.

The device is expected to be backed by a 4500mAh battery with 80W SuperVooc fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to come in Night Tour Black, Clear Sky Blue, Slightly Drunk colour variants.

Further Oppo Reno 8 Pro is expected to come with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display. The smartphone may come with a refresh rate of 120Hz paired with HDR10+ support. The smartphone may be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX and offer up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
