Dhaka: Expatriate young software engineers from Bangladesh have come forward to help disadvantaged children around the world. He is working on creating a portal on the subject using the software. Mohaimen Khan currently works with Microsoft in Vancouver, Canada.
He is engaged in creating a portal where mentors can sign up and help students and children provide a variety of counseling and financial support. The multi-talented Bangladeshi is also currently trying to raise funds for children in disadvantaged countries.
Mohaimen noted that Microsoft allows matching grants when the same amount of money paid by an employee of this multinational technology corporation matches the needs of a child. “I have so far raised more than 00 1,500 for disadvantaged Palestinian children and raised money for a networking event, all of which will go to university students who are unable to pay their tuition fees,” he said.
Mohaimen said he received offers to work after graduating from Microsoft, Amazon and a few other organizations while he was in school. “I decided to work with Microsoft as a software engineer, I was working in Seattle, the USA from August 2020 to August 2021,” he added.
“I was promoted in August 2021 and transferred to work at Dynamics 365 in Vancouver, British Columbia.”
Mohaimen said he was always interested in solving challenging problems in math and science. Mohaimen said he has spent hours trying to solve challenging math problems. He has come up with excellent ways to solve them.
These efforts and interests made him determined to become an engineer from an early age. His journey to Canada began when he and his family moved from Bangladesh to Toronto.
