Bangladesh ICT Minister Palak calls for creation of indigenous communication, social and education platform

Dhaka — The state ICT Minister of Bangladesh has urged for innovation of self-developed communication, social, and education platforms to compete on a global range from their positions. State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed inaugurated a the platform on Wednesday noted this.

Zunaid Ahmed Palak once again urged the youth to create their own and communication application to the contestants, emphasizing the importance of innovation by quoting the security and meeting app created by the programmers of ICT department.

At the same time, he hopes that the local IT companies and the country’s innovative inventors will be able to solve their problems to meet the local demand.

The state minister said, “I thank Databird for taking such a timely initiative. I hope all entrepreneurs, inventors, developers and engineers will showcase their sun on this Databard Launchpad platform, he added.

And the ICT department will always be by the side of such good initiatives to build a better future for the young generation.

“We have about 11 crore internet subscribers,” he said. To meet the needs of these customers we need local social media platforms, communication application platforms, education platforms. We also have to spread our initiatives globally.

“Over the past four years, we have been able to attract 300 million in foreign investment in fintech logistics and digital e-commerce startups,” he said, referring to innovations in local development efforts.
