Palestinian mobile network Jawwal renews 5-year data analytics deal with Subex

Palestinian mobile network Jawwal has renewed its five-year contract with Subex that includes using data analytics solutions for fraud management and reducing revenue leakage.

The telecom analytics solutions provider has been working with Palestinian firm since 2014 on improving and reducing revenue leakage.

As part of the new deal, the expanded scope will cover Jawwal’s existing offerings, as well as new ones through controls for digital service assurance, mobile money, rating assurance, number portability and revenue recognition, said a statement from Subex.

“Given the critical juncture of that the Palestine market is, it is important that we engage with partners who have proven experience of enabling success in fast-paced environments. The upgraded system will help achieve tangible success by enhancing customer experience and protecting our revenues,” Jawwal’s general manager Abdul Majeed Melhem said.

The Bengaluru-headquartered Subex claimed that its ‘ROC Revenue Assurance’ offers a comprehensive view of an by providing better visibility into risks surrounding operations, revenue and margins.

Similarly, the company asserted that its ‘ROC Fraud Management’ combines a traditional rules engine, advanced machine learning capabilities and a scalable architecture to proactively detect fraudulent activities on the network.
