Ericsson Studios India to focus on 5G, smart cities, and IoT

Swedish gear maker Ericsson has set up an experience centre at its headquarter. Named as Ericsson Studios India, the centre will house innovations in technologies and futuristic use-cases on 5G and IoT. Visitors at the Experience Studio would be able to interact with Ericsson experts, said the company.

The Ericsson Studio was inaugurated on site by telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan and Klas Molin, Ambassador of Sweden to India. The centre would focus on areas such as 5G connected drones, connected urban transport, Internet of skills and mixed reality mining.

“With the pace at which technology is evolving, initiatives like these provide for discussions and understanding of new technologies and their application in the real world,” said Sundararajan.
