InMobi goes with Microsoft to offer AI-powered marketing solutions for enterprises

Mobile marketing and advertising firm InMobi has deployed Microsoft solutions to offer artificial intelligence-based marketing solutions to enterprises.

Mobile marketing and advertising firm InMobi has deployed Microsoft solutions to offer artificial intelligence-based marketing solutions to enterprises. In a statement, the company said that it was combining its advertising and marketing cloud capabilities with Microsoft Dynamics 365 on the back of the Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including AI, machine learning and analytics.

The company also informed that the partnership also involved technology collaboration and combined go-to-market strategies to help CMOs design their advertising and marketing strategies in a mobile-first world. “These integrated advertising and marketing solutions will be offered to Microsoft’s enterprise client base,” said InMobi Founder and CEO Naveen Tewari.

On the question of verticals adopting these solutions, the senior executive said while these solutions will find relevance across sectors, the companies expect to see strong traction in areas like media, , retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and FMCG. Currently, the marketing cloud is being rolled out in the US, Australia, and parts of Asia and in the next six months to China.

Microsoft India Anant Maheshwari said that with technology transforming every industry and consumers’ lives, companies are looking for newer ways to engage with customers. “Companies are looking at offering more connected, personalized experiences. This partnership (with InMobi) will help deliver new intelligent customer experiences and business insights to enterprises globally,” he added.

InMobi is a global mobile advertising and discovery platform that reaches over 1.5 billion unique mobile devices worldwide. The platform enables consumers to discover new products and services by providing contextual, relevant, and curated recommendations on mobile apps and devices.

The company was founded in 2007 under the moniker mKhoj by Naveen Tewari, Mohit Saxena, Amit Gupta and Abhay Singhal. In 2008, it was enhanced from SMS-based services to mobile advertising and rebranded as InMobi. The company is backed by Soft Bank, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Ram Shriram’s Sherpalo Ventures.
