In a bid to target computing consumer, Lenovo has partnered with Microsoft and Qualcomm to launch Miix 630, a 2-in-1 detachable laptop. The newly launched device will be available at a price of $799.99 in the second quarter of 2018 across different market including India. However, this price may vary from market to market, said Lenovo.

The key differentiating feature of this yet to be available laptop is that Lenovo is promising to deliver anytime, anywhere mobility – with integrated 4G LTE. It means this laptop will not only rely on Wi-Fi connection, users will be able to connect their 4G LTE SIM for accessing the Internet but they will have to pay to their telecom operator for 4G services.

Miix 630 comes with Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform on the S operating system. It has full-sized backlit keyboard. It will be shipped with a Lenovo digital pen with 1,024 levels of sensitivity so one can draw, sketch or annotate with Windows Ink for a natural pen-on-paper experience, said Lenovo. Both keyboard and Pen will be part of overall package, user will not have to purchase it separately. Lenovo said that user can upgrade the devices to Windows 10 Pro at no cost but they will have to buy a regular license after 180 days (6 month).

Miix 630, with its keyboard is just 15.6mm (0.6 in) and weighing just 1.33kg (2.93 lbs). Lenovo claims that the laptop will offer long battery life of up to 20 hours of local video playback. Lenovo said that it requires unit configured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage. The Miix 630 is built with a fan-less design that packs more power with efficient heat processing into a smaller Snapdragon 835 mobile chipset, said PC maker.

The Miix 630 also offers personalization. Along with different driven features, it comes with Cortana, a voice-enabled intelligent personal digital assistant and biometric facial recognition for security.
