IT firm announced on Thursday that it has launched a free Artificial Intelligence (AI) certification training on its Infosys Springboard Virtual Learning Platform. The company intends to empower learners with skills that are anticipated to be in high demand in the future.

According to an official statement from the company, the curriculum will be developed with the help of Infosys AI-first specialists and data strategists. These professionals are responsible for delivering Infosys Topaz AI-first suite of services, solutions, and platforms.

Infosys will be providing certifications in AI and Generative AI skills through the Infosys Springboard Virtual Learning Platform. These certifications are likely to be crucial for individuals seeking employment in these emerging fields.

The AI certification will offer a variety of courses, covering several topics related to AI. This includes an introductory course on AI and Generative AI, with a specific emphasis on and , and a masterclass on AI and the impact of Generative AI.

In addition to this, a customised course titled ‘Citizens Data Science’ is also on offer. This course aims to cover various facets of the data science discipline, including Python programming, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and exploratory data analysis. Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive a certificate.

India logged 29 lakh cyber incidents in 2025, up 85% in two years

India recorded 29.44 lakh cyber security incidents in 2025, an 85 per cent increase from 2023, the government told the Lok Sabha. CERT-In has empanelled 237 security auditing organisations and trained over 11 lakh participants through awareness programmes.
