Samsung rolls out new Android updates for Galaxy S22 smartphone in India

The company released the same update for users in the US recently. The new update comes with firmware version ZVJ2 and it weighs around 1.3GB.

Korean smartphone major Samsung has rolled out new Android 13-based beta 4 update for Android 13-based One UI 5.0 for Samsung Galaxy S22 users in India and Germany. The company released the same update for users in the recently.

The new update comes with firmware version ZVJ2 and it weighs around 1.3GB. Along with the latest software, the update also fixes some bugs related to DND mode, Object Eraser, Samsung DeX and Quick Share. Samsung reveals that with this latest update it has also improved the continuous beeping sounds and vibration issue which appeared after the fourth beta update.

It is an OTA update and all the users have enrolled for the beta program will get the update via push notification. However, you can also manually check for the update by going to Settings> Software Update.

With One UI 5.0 users can customise their smartphone experience, including an expanded set of colour options for a more tailored look. The new UI allows users to get up to 16 preset colour themes based on their wallpaper and 12 more colour options for their home screens. The new UI also offers reorganized menus that provide easy access to all ringtone volumes and vibration intensities.

Recently, an report revealed that Samsung may roll out the stable Android 13 update by the end of this year. According to a report by Sammobile, Samsung is expected to roll out the Android 13 update for Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 lineups before 2023. The smartphone maker is also tipped to roll out the One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy Z Fold3, , Galaxy Z Fold4, and Galaxy Z Flip4 before the end of this year.
