Apple’s much-awaited iPhone 14 goes on sale, early 5% discount announced

The smartphone are available for purchase on e-commerce websites, Apple’s official website and tech stores.

A week after its launch, Apple’s much-awaited 14 is reported to have made its presence to the shelves of Indian retailers and are finally available for sale.

According to the global technology major, the smartphone are available for purchase on e-commerce websites, Apple’s official website and tech stores across the country. The iPhone 14, which is available in five exciting colours – Red (Product), Midnight, Blue, Purple and Starlight, starts at Rs 79,900 including taxes.

On the main website of Apple, the tech giant is giving a straight 5 per cent discount of up to Rs 16,000 to those who purchase the iPhone 14 through HDFC Bank credit cards. Apple is also offering a trade-in, where you can enjoy a discount of Rs 34,000 on the new iPhone 14 by trading in your older working smartphone.

While the iPhone 14 is going on sale from September 16, the iPhone Plus will be available for purchase from October 7.

The new iPhone 14 smartphone flaunts a aerospace-grade aluminium body. Apple also claims that the smartphone’s Ceramic Shield is tougher than any smartphone glass.

As per reports the iPhone 14 comes packed with the new iOS 16 which lets you customise your Lock Screen, track your Activity rings, see live updates from your favourite apps and more. Apple’s smartphone of 2023 also comes with Crash Detection feature which automatically detects a severe accident and alerts your emergency contacts and emergency services for help.

The new Apple smartphone comes in three storage options – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Some of the new features include Emergency SOS via , Action Mode, a new front camera with autofocus, brighter true tone flash, an ultrawide camera and more.

The phone flaunts a Super Retina XDR 6.1-inh OLED display, A15 Bionic chip. On the camera segment, the iPhone 14 packs a dual-camera set-up with 12MP of main camera along with 12MP of Ultra Wide sensor. On the front, the iPhone 14 houses a 12MP TruDepth camera.
