According to Google, iOS Focus mode support for Gmail users will arrive in the coming weeks. Earlier. iPhone and iPad users running iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 were unable to customise Gmail’s behaviour in Focus mode.

The change will be useful for iOS users when they need to cut screen time but don’t want to miss an important message while other notifications are muted. This new feature will be available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as legacy Basic and customers along with users with personal Google accounts.

Google has mentioned that there is no admin control for this feature and it will be rolled out extensively within some days.
