Global fintech major Broadridge Financial Solutions has announced to elevate industry veteran Sheenam Ohrie as the new Managing Director for Broadridge India. Ohrie succeeds Laxmikanth Venkatraman who became Chairman of Broadridge India.
According to the company, Ohrie joined Broadridge in September 2021 as the Chief Operating Officer for India and brings close to three decades of experience across various aspects of product engineering, global delivery and product management.
Ohrie has worked closely with Venkatraman and was responsible for innovation practice, and risk & compliance function, according to a statement.
In her new role, She will be responsible for driving growth and innovation in India to accelerate the company's journey to invest and build talent for the future. Also, she will be responsible for delivering high performance and transformation across all aspects of the company's delivery organisation—Technology, Operations and Shared Service Teams.
Since the launch of Broadridge India, it has grown multifold from a team of 450 associates to over 4,000, operating in state-of-the-art facilities in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, said the company.
Broadridge Financial Solutions, a global fintech leader with $5 billion in revenues, employs over 13,000 associates in 21 countries, as per the statement.
