In a move to push its digital roadmap, the Group has announced to appoint top techie Rahul Shandilya as the new company Group . According to the announcement by GMR, in his new role, Shandilya will handle all aspects of IT strategy and the company’s digital transformation plans.

The GMR Group, an -based multinational conglomerate that is headquartered in the national capital New Delhi was founded in 1978. The group comprises many companies including GMR Energy, GMR Infrastructure, GMR Airports, GMR Enterprises, etc.

The conglomerate is one of the fastest-growing infrastructure enterprises in the country. With its diverse portfolio of projects, infrastructure provider GMR is building state-of-the-art projects in sectors of critical importance. The group has implemented many iconic infrastructure projects in India.
