Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) will hold a public hearing on the quality of telecommunication services on August 22

— Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory (BTRC) will hold a public hearing on the quality of telecommunication services on August 22, said a notification issued on Sunday.

“Any interested person including concerned government, semi-government, autonomous organizations, telecommunication service providers, mobile users, Bangladesh Consumers Association, concerned professionals can take part in the public hearing and express their views,” said BTRC Deputy Director (Media and Communication Branch) Zakir Hossain Khan.

According to notification, a public hearing on ‘Telecommunication Services and Regulatory Agency Activities’ will be held on 22 August at 2 pm on the online platform. To participate, people will have to register by August 10 which could be done on Commission’s website — www.btrc.gov.bd/registration-form.

Any person can register and provide relevant comments, suggestions and statements on the activities of telecommunication services to the regulatory body.

Considering the time constraints, only those who give logical questions, statements or advice related to the subject will be confirmed to participate through an e-mail or message. Necessary information such as joining link and log-in password will be provided to them for participating in the hearing, said Khan.
