Dhaka — The Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment has launched an entitled ‘‘ to simplify and digitize services to reduce fraud in foreign employment, and high immigration costs.

Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed inaugurated the app on Saturday as the chief guest at Zoom .

has been created as a joint venture of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment and Private Apps as an initiative of Mujibbarsha.

Secretary of the Ministry. Ahmed Munirush Salehin chaired the meeting as a special guest spoke to the Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister Ahmed Kaikaus.

Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed said the ‘Ami Prabasi’ app could play an important role in ensuring transparency and accountability in overseas employment. Expatriate workers will benefit from using this app.

The app has been created in a joint venture with the ministry by an organization called Thani Systems Limited.

Manpower Employment and Training Bureau Director-General spoke at the meeting. Shamsul Alam and, Tariqul Ikramul Haque, Managing Director of Thani Systems Limited, a manufacturer of expatriate apps, and Namir Ahmed, Director.
