New ventures are priority: Zunaid Ahmed Palak

Dhaka — The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, “We, the ICT department, always believe in partnership and want to make new initiatives a success on the basis of public-private partnership.”

The inaugural event of ‘s Opportunity Platform was held online. The State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed inaugurated the event.

Palak said that today, in 2021, eleven and a half crore people are getting facilities.

I myself have seen at different times, how women entrepreneurs have led a social revolution. I believe that if the government, the private sector, and educational institutions can coordinate these three properly, many big initiatives can be successful, he added.

Also, dialogue on the occasion was Director Aftabul Islam, Bank Managing Director Arfan Ali, BIDS Senior Research Fellow Dr. Nazneen Ahmed, and Tina Jabin, Managing Director, and CEO of Startup Bangladesh Limited.
