CtrlS bags Golden Peacock Award for data center smart energy innovation

has been awarded the for Eco-Innovation. The company said that jury selected CtrlS Datacenters, after having evaluated 234 companies on parameters such as innovation, environment, health and safety, conservation and impact on climate change.

The winners in other-than-datacenter category include Tata Motors (ERC), ITC, JSW Cement and ITC Life Sciences and Technology Center. The past winners include Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra, and Reliance Industries.

Instituted in 1991 by the Institute of Directors (IOD), India, the Golden Peacock Awards is globally regarded as a Corporate Excellence benchmark. It follows a transparent five-step evaluation process by experts and site visit to validate and rate the nominees, finalisation of winners and finally award the winners.

This recognition is a testament to our continued commitment to excellence in energy efficiency, sustainability and addressing the critical environmental challenges,” said Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Founder and CEO, CtrlS.

STMicro quarterly profit declines by 18.4% owing to slow demand

European chipmaker STMicroelectronics reported net revenues of $3.47 billion, marking an 18.4% decline compared to the same period last year. This downturn was particularly noticeable in the automotive and industrial sectors, although gains in personal electronics provided some balance.
