: Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmadabad, which is one of the leading Centre of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS), has released various positions of Graduate and Technician Apprentices for candidates who have a Degree or Diploma from a recognized University or Board coming under Western Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Diu & Daman (UTs)).

Who Can Apply for the ISRO Recruitment 2019

Graduate and Technician Apprentice Positions? Engineers who are below 35 years of age on 15 march 2019, Indian nationals and hold a BE or BTech with aggregate minimum 65% Marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of 6.84 on a 10 scale in the relevant field declared by recognized University can apply for the following Graduate apprentice positions – Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

In addition to that, candidates who hold a Bachelor's Degree (first class) in Library Science / Library and Information Science or equivalent declared by recognized University can apply for the Graduate Apprentice (Library Science /Library and Information Science) position. There is an opening for candidates with a bachelor's degree in hotel management and catering technology.

Furthermore, there are technician apprentice positions available as well for candidates who hold a Diploma (first class) in the following fields – Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology, Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering.

The period of training will be one year and apprentices engaged will be registered under Apprentice Act, 1961; while graduate apprentices will be paid a stipend of Rs 5000, technician apprentices will be paid Rs 3542 per month. Also, the apprentices will have no claim on any job openings that may be available in SAC or other units of ISRO after the training period.

How to Apply for the ISRO Graduate and Technician Apprentices Online

The mode of application is online only on the official SAC website. Candidates must fill in the required information and revise the application carefully before submitting as the online form once submitted cannot be revised. Candidates must also take care to register with the correct email address as all intimation will be conducted through the registered email address only.

Upon registration or submitting application, applicants will be provided with a 14 digit Online Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference as this will be used for all future correspondence.

After registration, candidates are required to take print-out of the application summary. Online registration has started from 1 march 2019 and will be open until 15 March 2019 5:30 PM IST. Candidates are also requested to go through the detailed advertisement on the official SAC website before applying.

STMicro quarterly profit declines by 18.4% owing to slow demand
