Chandigarh-based Viithiisys Technologies acquires product development startup Actiwate

Chandigarh-based IT consulting firm has acquired on-demand application development startup in an undisclosed amount. The acquisition was the result of Actiwate's need to scale up their operations and Viithiisys need for an experienced Product Management team for their flagship product Vizitor. Post the acquisition, Amanjot Malhotra founder of Actiwate, will exit the company and act as the advisor.

The Gurgaon based Actiwate, has developed more than 60 products for MNCs and in the last 2yrs of its operation. Viithiisys Technologies that enables organizations across the globe to leverage their IT infrastructure, has helped many startups to build their product on technicle aspects like Homecanvas, Factordaily, Thecharmworks and Tokopedia.

Gaurav Saini, CEO Viithisys, said, “Actiwate's team will bring a fresh boost of expertise in the fields of Product Management, Digital Marketing and Branding to the team of Vizitor. We are also glad to expand our product portfolio and clientele with this acquisition. This acquisition will help us build a robust and experience-oriented product with the potency to give voice to the people in the Visitor Management Platform. ”

The global visitor management software market is expected to reach approximately USD 6300.0 million by 2025. The global visitor management software market is expected to exhibit a CAGR of more than 15.0% between 2017 and 2025.

The major factor driving the growth of the visitor management software market is the need for paperless administration in several organizations owing to the ease of maintaining data. Moreover, stringent government regulations and policies by associations in maintaining the visitor data records are likely to drive the growth of the market over the forecast period.
