Data Security Council of India () will organise the 12th edition of its flagship cybersecurity event, the Annual Information Security Summit (AISS) between 13th-15th December 2017 at The Leela Ambience, Gurugram, Haryana, said a statement. Organised annually by DSCI, AISS is one of the coveted industry summits focussed on contemporary and futuristic technologies to address global and national cyber security challenges. According to DSCI, this year there is a special focus on privacy, data protection and emerging technologies.

According to DSCI, over 150 speakers in 60 sessions will host plenaries, debates, keynotes, visionary talks, in-depth workshops, and roundtables showcasing security-driven deliberations. This year summit will revolve around Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Cognitive Security, Digital Payments, Capacity Building, /APTs, Product Security & DevSecOps, Data Protection/GDPR, Security Journalism, Forensics and more.

“DSCI continues to innovate to make AISS an enriching experience for the security leadership and entire ecosystem that ranges from start-ups to global leaders, and customers spanning every enterprise vertical and government. This year we are bringing a special focus on strategic and design thinking to the domain of cybersecurity and deliberations on use cases and innovation agenda,” said Rama Vedashree, CEO, DSCI.

A glimpse of the few interesting sessions include for Cyber Security, Crypto Debate, Scope & Future of Digital Forensics, Security Design Thinking, Potent & Wider cyber attacks, Cyber Security framework for Smart Cities, SMBs embracing digital evolution, Demystifying Cybercrime strategy for Corporates and more would underscore the discussions at AISS 2017.

Other highlights include ‘SEGAMATHON- Security Gamification Hackathon’, Simulations, Demo Theater, Roast Sessions, Student Zone. Witnessing the rising acceptance and popularity of DSCI Excellence Awards, it will be hosted as always but with greater pomp and show, to recognise best practices adopted by the industry, exemplary work carried out in the field of security and privacy, and reward visionary leaders. It will also host DSCI ‘Innovation Box’ for identifying the ‘Most Innovative Security Product of the Year’.
