Badri Gomatam

Badri Gomatam is Group Chief Technology Officer at Sterlite Technologies Limited, also known as STL. His work is associated with communications technology, optical networking and digital infrastructure, with a focus on areas such as photonics, enterprise networks, access networks and long-haul networks.

He joined STL in 2011 and has worked in senior technology roles within the company’s network technology business. His professional background spans wired and wireless communications, including areas linked to semiconductors, photonics and advanced network systems.

Gomatam holds an MS and PhD from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a BE from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
