On International Women’s Day BSNL offers 100GB free email storage to women customers

The current storage space limit offered to the BSNL broadband customer is 1 GB which is less than to the storage space being offered by Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail

Celebrating International Women’s Day, state-owned telecommunications firm, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited () said it would offer a 100GB space for email to all women customers. According to company official, initially this is bring offered to women customer and later this service will be available to all Indian citizens with the BSNL broadband plans.

The current storage space limit offered to the BSNL broadband customer is 1 GB which is less than to the storage space being offered by Gmail, Yahoo Mail and Hotmail.

“100 GB storage space is introduced with BSNL’s two pan India plans in free of cost. Plans offered are ‘BBG Combo ULD 680′ and ‘BBG Combo ULD 950′ to the customers on their bundled email service. Anyone availing these two plans are going to get FREE email address with 100 GB storage space,” said Anupam Shrivastava, CMD, BSNL.

With this offer, BSNL’s DataMail subscribers are also covered. The linguistic email service offered by BSNL provides डाटावन.भारत (DataOne.Bharat) domain and email address are being offered in eight regional languages including Hindi (हिन्दी), Gujarati (ગુજરાતી), Urdu (اردو), Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੇ), Tamil (தமிழ்), Telugu (తెలుగు), (বাংলা) and Marathi (मराठी).  Which means that a person having डाटावन.भारत email address will get 100 GB space.

Most of the email service providers offer 20 GB free storage space currently. BSNL’s 100 GB storage space is being offered with the broadband plan in free of cost.
