Indian AI data solutions company, iMerit has announced to onboard Rajsekhar Aikat as its Chief Technology & Product Officer. According to the company, Aikat joins iMerit from Qualcomm, where he was Senior Director of Product Management.
Aikat brings along over 18 years of experience in automotive, IOT, robotics and telecom sectors. Before Qualcomm, he was Director of Product at Brain Corporation, an autonomous mobile robot platform, the company said in a statement.

He will lead the technology innovation, strategy and product roadmap as we continue to build long-term strategic relationships with the leading global players in the space.”

At present iMerit employs more than 5,500 full-time data annotation experts in Bhutan, Europe, India and the United States. The company has raised $23.5 million in funding till date, from British International Investment, Khosla Impact, Michael and Susan Dell Foundation and Omidyar Network.
