Airtel with Zee to introduce VoD channel called ‘Spotlight’

Airtel Digital TV, the arm of leading , and Zee Theatre have launched a video-on-demand (VoD) channel called ‘Spotlight’, which would air plays by popular theatre groups from the country.

Zee Theatre is the theatre segment of Subhash Chandra-led Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. The move would provide Indian theatre with a wider market reach, the companies said a joint statement from both the firms.

Viewers can watch over 100 plays in , Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali and , across a wide variety of genre, ranging from classic to thriller, to comedy which will be brought to life by renowned artists such as Varun Badola, Sonali Kulkarni, Ira Dubey and Vikram Gokhale, it said.

MEIL, Abu Dhabi’s Analog to invest up to $500 millon in India AI joint venture

Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence company Analog and Indian infrastructure major Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd (MEIL) will invest $300 million to $500 million over the next three to four years in a 50:50 joint venture.
