Goenka who plans to launch the new consultancy within the next few weeks is likely to be joined by big four-Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG-partners as launch partners

Abhishek Goenka, former chief executive officer at top office space leasing company, CoWorks has announced to move on from his current position to launch a new tax consultancy.

A corporate finance expert, Goenka who plans to launch the new consultancy within the next few weeks is likely to be joined by big four-, , , -partners as launch partners.

Aeka Advisors, the firm set up by Goenka, will focus on transaction advisory, transaction Support, tax, and regulatory services. “The team will include partners from leading advisory firms. The team will be based in Bangalore, and serve clients across India and internationally,” said Goenka.

In the past, Goenka, much known for his skills in getting through tough deals, was part of the core team that negotiated and executed the Brookfield deal. Brookfield had in 2020 invested about $ 2 billion in RMZ. As per media reports, the Canadian fund bought a minority stake in the privately-owned company. RMZ sold 12.8 million square feet from its 67 million square foot total portfolio.

Prior to joining CoWorks, Goenka was part of PwC’s and had a national leadership role with a team of about 1,000 professionals, including about 30 partners. He was also part of other top firms including EY and BMR.
