As tensions between the two global economic giants, US-China continues to boil, China’s foreign minister in a stern warning to the US said that it will “face an unbearable price” over its actions towards the self-ruled island of Taiwan, in Beijing’s latest threat over the flashpoint island.

This comes just a month after the US prez -led American administration invited Taiwan to its ‘Summit for ‘. The first-of-its-kind gathering is looked at as a test of President Joe Biden’s assertion.

Tensions between China and the US have soared in recent years over issues including human rights, trade, and technological competition, with Taiwan emerging as a major flashpoint. China claims the democratic island of Taiwan as its own territory and has vowed to seize it one day by force if necessary.
