TCL Alcatel to launch Alcatel A3 10 Tab in India; likely to feature 10-inch display, Android 7 Nougat, Mediatek processor

After showcasing Alcatel A3 10 Tab during the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC 2017), TCL Alcatel is finally set to launch Alcatel A3 10 Tab in India

After showcasing A3 10-inch Tab during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017, TCL Alcatel is finally set to launch Alcatel A3 10 Tab in India.  According to invitation sent out to journalist, TCL Alcatel will launch Alcatel A3 10 Tab on June 15 at 11 am onwards. Praveen Valecha, regional director Alcatel India and Bipul Kumar, category heads Flipkart will address the media.

Although Alcatel has not officially said anything about the features of the Alcatel A3 10 Tab but the one that company showcased during the MWC 2017 had 10.00-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.

The Alcatel A3 10 Tab is likely to be powered by -core Mediatek processor and it may come with 1 GB of RAM. The tab is expected to pack at least 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.

As far as the camera is concerned, the Alcatel A3 10 Tab most probably will have a 5-megapixel primary camera. The Alcatel A3 10 Tab may run on Android 7.0, powered by a 4600mAh non removable battery.

On the connectivity front, Alcatel A3 10 Tab is likely to have all the connectivity options including 4G, , GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM.

Sensors on the tab may include accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor. Alcatel A3 10-inch Tab is likely to be priced under Rs 12000.

With Flipkart association, the tab will be available on flipkart.com for purchase. However, the company has not given any information if it will also be available offline or online on any other e-commerce platform.

Established in 2004 as a joint venture between Alcatel-Lucent of France and TCL Communication of China, the TCL Alcatel-Lucent manufacture One Touch mobile and tablet series. The company is known for its OneTouch range of Android .

During the MWC 2017, Alcatel introduced three new smartphones and a Windows 10 powered 2-in-1 tablet. The smartphones lineup included Alcatel A5 LED, Alcatel A3, Alcatel U3 and a 2-in-1 tablet named Alcatel Plus 12.
