Pioneering Finnish phone manufacturer Nokia will re-enter the market with the launch of new Android-based on 26 February. The company has sent out invites to a keynote that will be held at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona next month.

Nokia is partnering with HMD Global for its smartphones’ hardware design for the next 10 years. The company recently launched its first Android powered smartphone, called Nokia 6, exclusively for China. The mid-range offering will be available from 19 January.

Nokia’s announcement hints at introducing multiple devices for a global user base. Reports suggest that Nokia plans to launch as many as seven models of smartphones this year.
