French audio company Devialet has introduced a Pulse Blue edition of its Phantom Ultimate 98 dB wireless speaker in India, priced at ₹2.40 lakh, as it expands its premium audio portfolio in the country.
Pre-orders for the speaker opened on September 23 through authorised retailers. A matching Tree Phantom Ultimate 98 dB stand is priced at ₹37,999.
The new edition retains the acoustic hardware and technologies of the Phantom Ultimate 98 dB but introduces a deep blue finish with gloss, mirror-polished side panels. Formula One driver Isack Hadjar, who races for Oracle Red Bull Racing, fronts the global campaign for the edition.
The compact speaker has a frequency response of 18 Hz to 25 kHz and can produce sound levels of up to 98 dB. It supports audio files at resolutions of up to 24-bit/192 kHz and can be used individually, as a stereo pair or as part of a multi-room setup.
Connectivity options include AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and UPnP.
The speaker uses Devialet’s Analog Digital Hybrid amplification technology, which combines Class A analogue amplification with Class D digital amplification. Other technologies include Speaker Active Matching, which adjusts the audio signal to the speaker drivers, and Heart Bass Implosion, designed to reproduce low frequencies down to 18 Hz.
It also incorporates Adaptive Volume Level technology, which dynamically adjusts volume according to the content being played.
Users can control the speaker through Devialet’s app, which provides Music, Podcast, Cinema and Neutral listening modes alongside a six-band equaliser, bass reduction and loudness controls. The speaker runs on the company’s DOS 3 software platform.
Henri Herve, Partner Manager, India and Technical Solutions Ambassador, APAC, Devialet, said India had become an increasingly important market for the company as demand for premium audio products grows.

The launch adds a new colour option to Devialet’s Phantom Ultimate range rather than introducing a new acoustic platform. The Pulse Blue version primarily differentiates itself through its exterior finish and matching stand while retaining the specifications and features of the existing 98 dB model.
