The company claimed that traditional networks were based on copper and hence, they are not able to carry high or symmetric speeds. According to company executives, the 1 Gbps speed for a general consumer means multiple connected devices streaming 4K content simultaneously, never having to buffer, seamless online gaming and everything they do.

Similarly, for businesses, it means multiple connected employees, machines and locations, faster upload to the cloud, faster financial transactions and enough bandwidth to support all critical .

According to the company, one of the commonly used high-speed broadband in metros is 100 Mbps. 1 Gbps is 10 times faster than that. The average 4G speed in India is 6.13 Mbps and the 1 Gbps is 160 times faster than that. It means a person or organisation opting for 1 Gbps will have better, fast and reliable connectivity.
