Tata Elxsi and Unity Technologies launch Centre of Excellence

Unity Technologies, creator of 2D, 3D, VR and AR product announced a collaboration with Tata Elxsi to launch a Centre of Excellence (CoE). The CoE will serve as a global innovation platform that brings together Unity , researchers and industry stakeholders to  encourage  knowledge sharing of best practices in digital transformation, said company.

“The Unity-Tata Elxsi is significant as it builds the single largest pool of Unity developers in India. Despite economic fluctuations and market uncertainty, this is a bright spark in the Asia Pacific region, As it continues to build  opportunities for /virtual reality (AR/VR),” said company.

Unity says it has reached nearly 3 billion devices around the world, and is used to author more than two thirds of all AR/VR content, Tata Elxsi brings the integrated expertise of combining Design, Technology and Content Development capabilities.
