Holitech to invest $200 million in Greater Noida manufacturing plant over 3 years

Global component supplier firm Holitech has launched its first component manufacturing plant in India. The plant in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh will get an of nearly $200 million and generate 6000 jobs over three years.

The company executive said that the new plant will be manufacturing Compact Camera Modules (CCM), Capacitive Touch Screen module (CTP), Thin Film Transistor (TFT), Flexible Printed Circuits (FPC), and fingerprint module.

The production is likely to begin in Q3 of 2019. The company informed that the manufacturing plant is spread across 4 factories and spans over 25000 square meters and will start mass production with a production capacity of over 300 million components per year.

The company majorly produces Liquid Crystal Displays, Liquid Crystal Display Modules, Touch Screens, Fingerprint recognition, Smart Wearable Products, intelligent Vehicle Products, Intelligent Micro Controller, Intelligent TLI/TFT Modules, Embedded Display Modules among others.

Modi launches UDAN’s next phase with ₹29,000 crore ten-year outlay

The government has approved a ₹29,000 crore expansion of the UDAN regional air connectivity scheme, targeting 100 new aerodromes and 200 helipads over ten years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the next phase in Jodhpur, where he also inaugurated a ₹480 crore airport terminal.
