Former M&M CFO VS Parthasarathy joins Allcargo Logistics board as independent director

Parthasarathy is one of the leading names in the automobile industry who also held top leadership roles including chairman of the board of Mahindra Logistics and president for the mobility services sector

Veteran industry leader and former Mahindra and Mahindra chief financial officer (CFO) has joined the board of Allcargo Logistics as an independent director.

According to Allcargo Logistics, apart from Parthasarathy Martin Mueller, a former Partner at consultancy firm McKinsey is also appointed as an independent director on the Allcargo Logistics board.

Parthasarathy is one of the leading names in the automobile industry held top roles at M&M including chairman of the board of Mahindra Logistics and president for the mobility services sector as well as the CFO for the M&M Group.

According to Allcargo, Muller has also worked in the logistics industry and was part of several teams advising several leading global logistics corporations over the years.

With Partha and Martin joining our Board, in addition to other distinguished members in the board already, I expect this intellectual and diversified combination of cross-functional leadership and professional expertise will help immensely as Allcargo prepares to move forward in its journey of excellence leading to meet our vision for the future,” Allcargo Logistics, chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty, said in a statement.

According to the company statement, the two new independent directors at Allcargo’s board will not just bring better experience at work but will help the company in its expansion plans. The company will now have a total of seven directors including four independent directors.

Other directors on the company board include Adarsh Hegde, joint managing director, Arathi Shetty, non-executive director, Mohinder Pal Bansal, non-executive, independent director, Cynthia D’Souza, non-executive, independent director and Shashi Kiran Shetty, the chairman.
