India among top promising nations for developing disruptive technology: KPMG

According to the KPMG report, almost twice as many global technology company leaders believe that hubs are still important in driving technology innovation

India has emerged as the most promising nation for developing disruptive technology according to the latest KPMG report. This comes amid a rise in technology back solutions gaining ground following the Covid-19 outbreak.

Many experts also believe that the dependence on technology-based solutions for business continuity during the second Covid-19 wave has drawn major interest towards technology, which has now become part of daily life for a considerable Indian population.

According to the KPMG report, almost twice as many global technology company leaders believe that hubs are still important in driving technology innovation as opposed to those who believe they are not, the new report by professional services firm KPMG released on Monday said.

In the latest survey, more than 800 industry leaders were surveyed for the report which said 39% believe ‘hub’ cities including London, , and Tel Aviv will continue to play a vital role, enabling talent to coalesce and collaborate in communities with a solid digital infrastructure.

Bengaluru was ranked at the eighth position among the top 10 cities. was ranked third in the list of countries and jurisdictions that show the most promise for developing disruptive technologies.
