L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has announced an extension of its relationship with PTC. The focus will be on developing solutions for the aerospace, defense, and transportation sectors. The collaboration will utilize PTC’s Windchill product lifecycle and product data management (PLM/PDM) application to assist in Aerospace & Defense segments by creating a digital thread from design to manufacturing, said the company.

The Windchill product suite is designed for the prediction of aero and components failure, offering analytics. LTTS will provide domain expertise and RUL prediction models, using PTC tools/platforms to create a solution for customers. This will facilitate improvements in aerospace MRO operations, field repairs, and aftermarket support through AR/VR integration with digital manuals (IETM) and workflow via PTC ThingWorx platform, said the company.

LTTS has a global relationship with PTC, aiming to provide Smart Digital Solutions & Services to shared customers. The extended collaboration will cater to the aerospace, defense, and transportation sectors, utilising the PLM/PDM application for the digital transformation of data from design to manufacturing stages.
