The Bengaluru SOC is described as a round-the-clock cyber defence hub, providing cyber threat intelligence and incident response in with company’s global network of cybersecurity experts. The center offers a hybrid model, allowing organisations to either outsource specific cybersecurity functions or fully manage their cybersecurity operations through Kyndryl.

As an IBM spinoff, Kyndryl emphasised that the SOC will also serve as a center of excellence for cybersecurity management, providing specialised skills, certifications, and technologies to support security events, operational management, and monitoring. The SOC’s capabilities reportedly include multi-level incident monitoring, malware analysis, threat hunting, and security information and event management (SIEM).

The company also claims the facility is equipped with advanced cyber engineering to analyse evolving threats, offer actionable insights to customers, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
