American cybersecurity technology companies CrowdStrike and Mandiant have signed a strategic partnership that they say will help their joint customers investigate, remediate, and defend against increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity events with their combined incident response (IR) cybersecurity services.
Both companies stated that as part of the agreement, Mandiant will leverage CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform and subscription options for its incident response and proactive consulting services for joint customers. It will also provide support to customers who use the Falcon platform later this year.
“Today’s complex threat environment calls for a collaborative approach that brings together industry-leading technologies and world-class teams to build the strongest defence for customers, which is exactly what this partnership is about,” said George Kurtz, co-founder and chief executive officer of CrowdStrike.
