Top techie Aan Chauhan joins Mindtree as chief technology officer

Bengaluru headquartered, Indian tech giant Mindtree has announced to appoint NxT Digital’s Aan Chauhan as new chief officer, weeks after the company completed the acquisition of the L&T Group firm.

Earlier Chauhan was serving as CTO in NxT Digital for the past two years. According to Mindtree, Chauhan was working on incubating and realising strategic digital platform-based business initiatives at NxT Digital. Chauhan has also worked at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp for 15 years and served as that company’s CTO from 2016 to 2019.

Before Cognizant, he was with IBM Global Services for eight years, serving in multiple tech leadership roles across multiple geographies. An alumnus of IIT , Chauhan has over 26 years of experience in building world-class products, platforms, services, and high-performance teams across diverse industry sectors such as banking and financial services, capital markets, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, , retail and technology.

According to Mindtree CEO Debashis Chatterjee, NxT Digital is all about connected products and connected ecosystems, which have been successfully implemented within the L&T Group.

“The reason we are excited about this is that has got a huge opportunity not only in manufacturing but also in industries like retail and consumer packaged goods,” Debashis Chatterjee said.
