Nasscom onboards TCS’ Krishnan Ramanujam as Chairperson and Microsoft’s Anant Maheshwari as VC

IT industry body Nasscom has appointed Krishnan Ramanujam of TCS as chairperson and Anant Maheshwari of Microsoft India as vice-chairperson.

Technology trade industry body, has announced to onboard tech veteran Krishnan Ramanujam, a senior executive at , as the new IT body Chairperson for 2022-23.

Krishnan was earlier the Vice-Chairperson of the body. He succeeds Accenture’s Senior Managing Director in India Rekha M Menon, who had served as the Chairperson for -22.

Nasscom (National Association of Software and Services Companies) has also announced the appointment of Anant Maheshwari, President of Microsoft India, as the Vice-Chairperson for 2022-23.

The new leadership, along with President Debjani Ghosh, will lead Nasscom to carry out its diverse array of priorities to achieve the 2025 vision for the industry.

“With the length and breadth of innovations we are witnessing, India’s vision of a $350 billion Industry by 2025 is eminently within the realms of possibility. I look forward to working closely with Nasscom’s member companies, the government, and other stakeholders to continue our endeavour in fostering growth,” Ramanujam said in a statement.

At Tata Consultancy Services, Ramanujam heads the growth group. According to Ghosh, Krishnan and Anant will spearhead innovations and drive the industry towards new heights in this decade.

India logged 29 lakh cyber incidents in 2025, up 85% in two years

India recorded 29.44 lakh cyber security incidents in 2025, an 85 per cent increase from 2023, the government told the Lok Sabha. CERT-In has empanelled 237 security auditing organisations and trained over 11 lakh participants through awareness programmes.
