Mphasis shuffles leadership with Ashish Devalekar for Europe, Anurag Bhatia for Global BPS

In a significant reshuffle of its leadership team, IT solutions provider , has announced key appointments to its senior management. Ashish Devalekar has been appointed as the Head of Europe, while Anurag Bhatia, the outgoing Head of Europe, will take over the role of leading the company's Global Business Process Services (BPS) division.

This strategic realignment, effective immediately, is part of Mphasis's broader plan to stimulate growth and strengthen its global footprint, said the company in a statement. Ashish Devalekar, who brings over two decades of experience in the European market, will now be at the helm of the company's European operations.

Devalekar said, “I am thrilled to join Mphasis and take on this new challenge. My focus will be on continuing the growth trajectory in Europe and driving value for our clients.” His appointment is seen as a move to capitalize on his extensive experience in business transformation and market strategy.

Anurag Bhatia, who will transition to head the Global BPS, has been a key figure in Mphasis's European success, said the IT major. In his new role, Bhatia is expected to leverage his deep understanding of service transformation to integrate AI-driven solutions across client operations.

“This is an exciting new chapter, and I look forward to aligning our operations with cutting-edge AI capabilities to deliver transformative outcomes for our clients,” Bhatia said.

“Both Ashish and Anurag have demonstrated exceptional leadership and have been instrumental in driving growth. We believe that these new roles will leverage their strengths and are aligned with our strategic focus on enhancing our global presence and deepening our technological capabilities,” said Nitin Rakesh, CEO and Managing Director of Mphasis.

Anurag's appointment as the Head of Global BPS aligns with our initiative to drive operational excellence through AI-driven transformation.”
