In expansion mode, agritech major Gramophone to hire top level CXOs, vice-presidents in 6 months

The company plans to hire about 300 new professionals in the next six-eight months.

In expansion mode, agri-tech major has announced to nearly double its headcount in the next 6-8 months to cater to the rise in demand due to a growing customer base from states across India.

The company at present employs 450 top-level professionals across technology, product, operations and marketing. The company plans to hire about 300 new professionals in the next six-eight months.

According to Gramophone co-founder and Tauseef Khan, the company is also looking to hire key CXOs and vice- level positions and is scouting for senior industry leaders, who can be the anchors as Gramophone moves to the next orbit of growth.

“Building a successful full-stack agritech business requires a massive deployment of technology as well as a layer of data science that provides granular insights on how we can be more frugal and effective across these stacks,” Khan said.

Khan added that given the massive momentum, the company is witnessing on the business front as well as its expansion plans. “We are looking to hire top of the line talent across our technology, product, and marketing teams.”

Gramophone, which currently serves over 12 lakh farmers, has operations across states including Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The company looks to expand its operations across three more states in the next 12 months.
