Gary A Hoffman stepped down from Visa Board of Directors

Visa said that Gary A. Hoffman has resigned as a member of the company’s Board of Directors effective immediately in order to pursue other opportunities.

Visa said that has resigned as a member of the company’s Board of Directors effective immediately in order to pursue other opportunities. “Gary has been a valuable member of the Visa Inc. Board, and has contributed meaningfully to the Board’s oversight of the successful integration of Visa Europe with Visa,” said Alfred F. Kelly, Jr., , Visa Inc.

Hoffman joined the Visa Inc. Board in June 2016 and served on the Board’s Audit and Risk Committee. Hoffman, who has also served on the Visa Europe Board and currently serves as its Chairman, will be stepping down from that position effective June 30, 2018.

, who joined the Visa Europe Board in June 2017 as an independent non-executive director, will become Chair of the Visa Europe Board upon Hoffman’s departure in June.

India logged 29 lakh cyber incidents in 2025, up 85% in two years

India recorded 29.44 lakh cyber security incidents in 2025, an 85 per cent increase from 2023, the government told the Lok Sabha. CERT-In has empanelled 237 security auditing organisations and trained over 11 lakh participants through awareness programmes.
