Richard Ventre, Chief Information Officer of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ), has resigned from his position after serving the firm for two years.

Richard’s next position will take him to Europe, where he will serve as Group Chief Information Officer for the Dutch multinational SHV. Beginning on January 1, 2022. He will assume the responsibilities of his new post, according to updates on his profile.

SHV is a multifaceted firm with operations in a number of industries, including energy, wholesaling, heavy lifting & transportation solutions, and animal food and feed production. The story was first reported on Tuesday by ETCIO.

“After almost two years in India, we decided to return home so the boys could attend college in the . India was a great experience, both professionally and personally, and we have memories and friendships we will cherish forever,” said Richard wrote on his LinkedIn profile.

In his previous role at Adani Ports, Richard transitioned the function into a value-driven business partner and oversaw the implementation of a strategy that enabled the company to achieve its growth objectives.

According to Adani Ports, which accounts for roughly one-fourth of all cargo movement in the country, it is one of India’s most important commercial port operators.

Richard has about 17 years of professional experience, and he has previously worked for firms such as APM Terminals and Network Rail in a variety of capacities.
