US-based fine-grained dynamic authorisation Axiomatics has launched the Axiomatics Policy (APS) for Amazon Web Services (AWS). Company says that Axiomatics Policy Server in the cloud will make easier for organisations to get started with externalised dynamic authorisation while realising the benefits of the cloud such as scalability, reduction in total cost of ownership, and co-location with AWS-based applications.

AWS users can install this policy-based approach with one-click deployment and bring your own license (BYOL) model. “As more organisations migrate to the cloud, there is a real need to address complex authorisation use cases for large sets and other cloud-based resources,” said Gerry Gebel, vice president of business development, Axiomatics.

“APS for AWS provides real-time dynamic authorisation and optional tools for auditing, reporting and policy testing – all in a simple-to-deploy package” he added.
